Who am I?
Hi! I’m Ana — a 21-year-old certified cat lover. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with cats. Sadly, growing up I was never allowed to adopt one because my parents weren’t exactly fans of the idea.
When I moved away for college, I thought I’d finally get my own furry friend, but student housing didn’t allow pets either. So, I got creative. I started carrying cat treats in my tote bag or backpack everywhere I went. I’d go on long walks, hoping to meet new feline friends — and I did!
Some of those friendships became so special that one cat even memorized where I lived and would wait by my studio door every day, just for a snack and a quick hello.
Our goal
I’m currently living in Curaçao — temporarily — which, once again, means I can’t adopt a cat of my own. That’s part of what inspired me to create this store. With the help of my sister, who lives in Portugal and shares the same habit of carrying treats in her bag, we found a way to turn our love for cats into something meaningful.
Together, we’re using this little project to raise money to buy food for the many street cats we meet. Around my sister’s neighborhood alone, there are about 6 or 7 adorable regulars who already recognize her — and her snack stash.
